  • Chip-Tac-Toe, get better at your game while having FUN in your backyard

These are ours, we like them, but you can make up your own. 1-5 Balls each, nope you cant have 6 just because you are not as good as the others. Just keep practicing. You will get there. Practice makes Perfect! 2-Chip at the squares. If youre good enough you can get in the grid by chipping in 1, you may even get the square you want! You must alternate players each chip. Its only fair and NO you cant go first just because you are a kid and Daddy is better. Flip a coin, youll grow up one day but today, try to beat Daddy fairly. (Ok he may let you go first if you whine enough) 3-Play the balls where they land. All the balls must be chipped before playing the balls in. Once your balls are chipped inside the grid, break out the putter, but this is where it gets tough. You can not enter the grid until all your balls are inside the grid, so try to get them inside before your competition. 4-The first player to get 3 in a row wins, Simple? There is a catch! 5-The Catch- If I have a ball in a square and you get one in the same square the square is now considered empty and fair game. To claim that square I MUST get another ball in it (2 vrs 1). BUT If I decide to putt out of that square, it gives the square to the other player as they will have the only ball in the square. All players must get the same number of strokes, so if you went first and you get three in a row first you can still be blocked so have a backup plan. This little twist means unlike Tic-Tac-Toe, you must plan a strategy, and the game WILL have a winner, no ties. Practice and the winner will probably be you. If not, thats ok, maybe next time.
